Precinct Chairs
The backbone of the Democratic Party
What does a Precinct Chair do?
Precinct Chairs are how we turn neighbors into a movement—but you won’t be doing it alone.
We’re building small teams of Precinct Chairs who work together to reach voters in targeted neighborhoods. That means:
- Walking neighborhoods together (not by yourself)
- Hosting casual meet-and-greets with neighbors
- Phone banking and outreach as a group effort
You’re not expected to figure everything out—you’re part of a team that shows up together.
You won't be on your own.
We’ve redesigned this role so no one feels overwhelmed.
As a Precinct Chair, you’ll have:
- Training and simple step-by-step guidance
- Easy-to-use voter data tools
- A team of fellow chairs working alongside you
- Ongoing support from county leadership
If you care about your community, we’ll help you with the rest.
Why it matters?
Real change doesn’t happen all at once—it happens neighbor by neighbor.
When we organize together:
- More people vote
- More voices are heard
- And Bell County becomes stronger and more connected
You don’t need to be an expert.
You just need to be willing to show up—and we’ll show up with you.
