Precinct Chairs

The backbone of the Democratic Party

What does a Precinct Chair do?

Precinct Chairs are the bridge between the Democratic Party and your neighborhood. You’re the first point of contact for voters, ensuring they get registered, know when and where to vote, how to get involved, and what’s at stake. Chairs attend County Executive Committee meetings, recruit volunteers, and organize grassroots efforts that turn out the vote. Every statewide victory starts in the precinct.

Block walking in Bell County

What if I don't know what to do?

We’re committed to giving you the support you need. As a Precinct Chair, you’ll have access to:

  • Training opportunities on voter registration, canvassing, and phone banking.

  • Data tools to identify and reach Democratic voters.

  • Community connections through our monthly CEC meetings and networking events.

These resources assure you’ll always have guidance, materials, and a team behind you.

Why does it matter?

Democrats win when we organize block by block, door by door. Precinct Chairs aren’t just volunteers. You’re leaders shaping the future of Bell County. From protecting voting rights to expanding healthcare, every call you make and every neighbor you mobilize has an impact. Change doesn’t start in Washington. It starts here, with us.
